#20 Outfit of the week...

Good Morning Gorgeous People,

So how has your week been? I can't believe it is the end of February already! Alsooo.....today is #20 outfit of the week ,can't believe that 20 weeks ago i started this little fashion feature! How time flies! 

So here it is , this week's outfit of the week. This week is inspired by all the amazing street wear from London Fashion Week. Wearing a mash up of high street and high end it is all about making an outfit work for you. SO take some inspiration from these great styles and wear it your own way. I am showcasing a few of my favourite street style looks from LFW and have pulled together an outfit with little snippets from all of these...enjoy! 

I have chosen a fabulous checked skirt in a more subtle dark green colour way in a nod to this interesting trend. Try a midi length skirt to freshen up your style, allowing you to bare a little leg but without being too on  show. Team it with this cute crop top for a great ensemble. It may not be the most universal look for all body shapes but as i said you need to wear it your way! Maybe pair a loose plaid shirt over your favourite skinnies if baring your tummy is too daunting! Or why not get a tartan mini and wear it with an oversized jumper for a casual day time look. It's about incorporating your favourite trends into your own style in a way that makes you still feel comfortable. I have chosen some great textured contrast pointed shoes. The patent and matte combination in fabrics adds a touch of luxe, but again these shoes are great for dressing up or dressing down with lots of different outfits. I have included this week's Monday must have as a sweet little accessories touch - the silver plated beaded ring is finished beautifully with a mother of pearl heart. So adorable!Finally the coat, a must have with the weather we have been having and a great way to finish off your style. Be bold , throw caution to the wind (and rain!) and go bright, or go classic to allow you to wear it with everything in your wardrobe. If you play it safe with all your wardrobe items maybe it is time to embrace the bubblegum pinks, or even a vibrant orange if your feeling brave to add a splash of colour. Or team your already vibrant outfits with a classic camel or grey oversized coat to add a touch of sophistication.

Monday Must Have #6

Good Morning gorgeous !

How was everyone's weekend? We had a good steady end to the week across all stores and the weather has also been behaving itself considering! A bit of a drizzly Monday today but let's not let that dampen our spirits. We have another fabulous item for you to have a peek at today so let's see what we have in store ...

Today i have chosen to show you the stunning Joma Jewellery range. A lovely silver plated range from London in sweet modern designs. Proven to be very popular and even spotted on the likes of Millie Mackintosh , if her style isn't to be envied then who's is?! Pictured is one of our favourites... their clever elasticated rings with a pearl heart detailing. #19 Outfit Of The Week

Good Morning Lovelies!

We have had a very progressive week this week and hope you have too. There is a great satisfaction in being productive i think! It's a rare occasion as i am sure you all feel the same. That 'to do' list getting longer not shorter right?! 

We are in the mood to be looking forward to lighter, brighter days and for spring to be upon us so the theme of this week's look is influenced by this. I have gone for something still rather layered as although the sun has been showing it's face a little there is no chance of it getting warm any time soon! We love this classic trench which is a must have and a brilliant way to transition through seasons. The light beige is a nod to spring and the cute ensemble underneath i have put together to provide a few options no matter what the weather throws at us! The shirt and jumper combination is a great way to look a little more 'put together' without being too tailored. Tuck the shirt in or leave loose depending on what style suits you best. I love this skirt as it is a nice alternative to the usual 'tube' skirts that have been so popular but still very wearable. The neutral tones will suit  almost anyone and quite a classic daytime look that i think looks smart yet comfortable. The bag is a great steal at just £29.95 and is all leather! Navy can be viewed as a little dated in handbags but in small accessories such as this i think it works really well and is a nifty little size for the essentials. The Loafers are great run around shoes to prevent aching feet at work but still keep you looking smart.

Good Afternoon Lovelies,

I hope you have a had a lovely lazy weekend and that getting out of bed this morning was not too difficult! Well we are faced with another Monday morning whether you like it or not....so i am going to brighten up your day with our 'Monday Must Have'.

#18 Outfit of the week...

Good morning fabulous people!

Thank goodness it is Friday! Another week that has flown by, we hope you have all had a good one. We have had a very busy time with the run up to Valentines...sorting out all the cute goodies that people are sending to their loved ones. Some of you will be having our parcels landing on your doorsteps today and we hope you love whatever has been sent to you, earning your other a few brownie points i am sure!

So enough with the 'lovey dovey' stuff and onto to our favourite Friday feature...Outfit of the week! This week follows on from the theme of last week, smartening up your act. The weather may not be improving that much and that favourite baggy jumper and jeans can't last forever so let's get back into putting a bit more effort into our work wear that can double up as an outfit for an evening out with ease. After all we all want to look like we made an effort but are not prepared to sacrifice that extra half an hour in bed in the mornings to achieve it !

I have chosen a gorgeous dress for this weeks outfit which can be worn in the office for a smart look or as i have done dressed up with your favourite heels to achieve an after work drinks outfit...or maybe even that valentines dinner date ! The dress is a spot jacquard dress from warehouse. A pattern or print is a great way to liven up a dull work wardrobe but still creates that polished look. Versatile for a variety of smarter wear occasions but the cut of the dress is super flattering and not too figure hugging for those days when you don't feel great! I have teamed this dress with a must have pair of high heeled sandals from zara , the criss cross design will bring your wardrobe up to date but again these are great worn with your favourite skinny jeans for a daytime look or paired with any of your great dresses for nights out. We love versatile pieces that you can get your money's worth from! To finish the look i have chosen some simple accessories all from Allofmyheart Exxtra.

The earrings are classic and not to statement ...at just £6.95 they are a great style steal! Then in a nod to valentines i have chosen a pop of red for the gorgeous leather handbag to break up the monochrome palette. This bag is a great all rounder , a classic style that you can throw into any outfit and add a dash of colour if it's looking a bit dull. Nice and practical too....we like to fit all of our essentials in there after all! Try adding colour within your accessories if your not too colour confident it's a great way to overall an old look and also test the water with some colours you wouldn't usually go for.

#17 Outfit of the week...

Happy Friday Lovelies!

What a windy week we have had! We have had a great week involving lots of new stock coming from our spring fair discoveries! Not only discovering new goodies but finding out what our fabulous suppliers have  install for us next! I can tell you that i am very excited and we are sure it won't disappoint. Although some of it is so exclusive we can't have the products till after summer! It will be worth the wait though.

Now onto this week's Outfit of choice. I have gone with a 'Get Tailored' theme this week. I love a comfy outfit as much as the next but there is something about getting a smart look together which makes you feel like you mean business. Plus, as i always stress, it is key to get items that work together or as separates maximising your outfit options and switching up you look without the need to purchase something new every week! ( Not that this will ever stop up..hey girls!) Tailored can suit everyone it is just making sure you get the fit spot on..after all that is the essence of tailoring! So don't be disheartened because the gorgeous cropped jacket your best friend just brought doesn't look as good on you. You have the find the proportions to work with your body shape, take a little time to try different lengths, cut, prints etc. It will be worth it in the end when you have these staples items to dress up any outfit in the future and that fit you just right. I have gone for a printed trouser as i think it just lifts a dull work outfit and makes it flexible for evening occasions too. The Shirt style top is a great style steal too as you can pair it with other tailored items for an office ready look or dress it down with your favourite skinnies and flats for the day.  I have included a gorgeous mock croc bag from our leather range which will be soon expanding to encompass a whole host of gorgeous bags in a wider range of styles. I have also added two gorgeous Linda Macdonald rings to either stack up or wear separately. The mix of gold and silver continues to be a big trend and i think the oxidised and polished finishes just add's a little uniqueness and interest. Plus we just love this range! I like adding accessories with different textures and finishes and think this is a great way to make an outfit pop and if you tend to play it safe with your clothing, try making a statement with your accessories to make it a little more interesting! Monday Must Have #3

Shake those Monday blues....i know.. i know...miserable weather....first day back after a lovely weekend off....too many emails....too much work.. and the weekend is just too far away!..But lets put a smile back on that face....with our Monday must have...! We bring the gorgeous items to you...!
